Who We Are

iWoman is a women's leadership, media training and EDI consultancy founded by BBC trained broadcaster and leadership coach Ngunan Adamu. Operating across two specialist brands iWoman Media and iWoman Academy we work with organisations and individuals who are committed to building a world where women's voices shape decisions, drive change and lead with impact.

Since our founding in 2016, we have worked with women across corporate organisations, public sector bodies, creative industries, social enterprises and community leadership in the UK and internationally.

The Problem We're Solving

Despite making up 50% of the workforce, women remain significantly underrepresented in senior leadership, public speaking, broadcast media and boardrooms. Research consistently shows that:

  • Women are interrupted more frequently in professional settings than male peers

  • Only 1 in 4 senior leadership roles in the UK are held by women

  • Women from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds face a double visibility gap, underrepresented both by gender and ethnicity

  • Confidence, not capability, is the most commonly cited barrier to progression for women in mid-career

iWoman exists to close that gap not by asking women to change who they are, but by giving them the tools, language and confidence to be fully themselves in every room.
