Ngunan Adamu is a BBC‑trained journalist, broadcaster and international media trainer, and the visionary founder behind iWoman Media and iWoman Academy. She has spent her career helping women find their voice — on air, in the boardroom and in their communities by combining world‑class media skills with powerful leadership and confidence‑building programmes.
The Story Behind iWoman
The platform I wished I had
From her early days as an aspiring presenter to becoming a respected radio host, producer and trainer, Ngunan has always understood what it feels like to be visible but not always heard. Navigating an industry where women and especially Black women were underrepresented, she experienced first‑hand the self‑doubt, systemic barriers and lack of tailored support that keep too many women on the sidelines.
iWoman Media and iWoman Academy were born from a simple but powerful intention: to create the platform she wished had existed when she started. A space where women are not only seen and heard, but equipped with the skills, confidence and community they need to step into leadership with authority and authenticity.
